About the Embassy

    The Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Tashkent, Republic of Uzbekistan is one of over 100 Indonesian Mission abroad headed by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary. The Embassy is also accredited to the Republic of Kazakhstan, Republic of Tajikistan and Kyrgyz Republic.

    Indonesian Embassy in Tashkent was opened in May 1994 when the First Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to the Republic of Uzbekistan, H.E. Hasan Abdul Jalil, presented his credentials to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, H.E. Mr. Islam Karimov.

    One of the Embassy’s main duties is to maintain and further enhance the existing bilateral relationship with the four accreditation countries.
